Welcome to the blog of Jo Ann Manolis Photography! I’m a wedding, portrait, and fine art photographer based in Santa Cruz, CA. I’ve created this blog as a means of sharing my work and life with my clients, family, and friends. I’ll be updating it regularly with my latest work, thoughts and ideas regarding photography and art, and links to many fabulous artists and vendors. So, take a look around, enjoy, and leave me a message here if you’re inspired. I can also be reached directly by e-mail via my website: joannmanolisphotography.com, or by phone at: (831)359-7948. Thanks for stopping by!

our mantel

Not that I really care (because let’s face it, it is more fun to sit on the floor and play with the baby than clean) but our house is in a constant state of disaster these days. Legos, puzzles, baby clothes, and plenty of adult clutter are everywhere. But when I look up at our mantel, I love what I see. It is quite possibly the only uncluttered corner in the house. From left to right…a photo of my mom as a teenager, a vintage camera, a photo of Pat and the big boy on the beach, and a recycled metal bird’s nest. Both the nest and the camera are from Saffron and Genevive, an amazing store here in Santa Cruz. It is worth a visit for sure!

My wedding season officially kicks off this Saturday…I’m so excited to dive back in. I will be posting more soon!

Love Saffron and Genevive, never bought anything from there, but LOVE browsing. Can’t wait to see this seasons photos.
